The Singapore‑based operator of the cargo ship that struck Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge causing the span to collapse and killing six workers has been indicted along with a senior employee, federal prosecutors said Tuesday.

The criminal charges are the latest legal fallout after the 2024 crash, which killed six men who were working on the Key Bridge.

The wreck, which left six people dead and caused the bridge to collapse, resulted in $5 billion in damages, prosecutors alleged in a 47-page indictment unsealed on Tuesday.
