A true Historic Moment for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®️ this week. On International Women’s Day (March 8th) Principal Founder and our “Guiding Light,” Ethel Hedgemon Lyle was honored with a street co-naming ceremony in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The 400 block of North 53rd Street in West Philadelphia was co-named, “Ethel Hedgemon Lyle Way.” This block is where Lyles lived for 26 years and her former residence still stands. Special guests at the ceremony included AKA North Atlantic
