Flower and pollinator power in an easy peasy shrub. Do you grow Althea or Rose of Sharon? Or, perhaps remember it from your grandmother’s garden? Granted, the old varieties can be ‘seedy and weedy’, but more recent cultivars are sterile such as ‘Blue Chiffon’, ‘Sugar Tip’ and ‘Diana’ don’t reseed themselves….or at least that’s been our experience at @mossmountainfarm .
