On December 7th, 2022, the California White Shark Project team put away the camera equipment and pulled in the anchor, ready to head home after a long day of research at the Farallon Islands. At the very last moment, the dorsal of a large white shark broke the surface. Quickly the team assembled the GoPro’s and were able to get footage of their unique dorsal fin. To our delight, this white shark hung around for a few minutes and gave us the chance to admire their impressive length and width! #gr
